Before you can do any manifesting, you need to clear blocks in your chakras, making sure they are balanced and free from any programming or blocks that will hold you back and keep you from manifesting your desires.

It is important to do this cleansing meditation every day until you are experiencing a significant shift in your life. How long will that be? Everyone is different, so I cannot give you a definite number of days.

I suggest trying to work it into your bedtime routine – the aim at bedtime is to not have any screen time for 2-hours before bed so that you have an optimal night’s sleep. This allows you the opportunity to incorporate meditation into your routine.

I advise listening to and working through the meditation daily at first, and then work at implementing whichever of the other tools and techniques suit your lifestyle in order to continue to raise your vibration to a level where manifestation is possible.

Root Chakra

Use earthy essential oils such as ylang-ylang, patchouli, vetiver, ginger and rosewood; wear red; yoga poses include front body poses, crow pose, chair pose and child’s pose; spend time outdoors – gardening, walking and hiking; eat foods such as beets, pomegranate and red meat; crystals to wear or keep in your space are red jasper, garnet and obsidian.

Affirmations to use include ‘I love being in my body. I am centered and grounded. I am at peace with the material world in which I live. I am able to let go of fear and know I am eternally safe’.

Sacral Chakra

Use essential oils such as mandarin, clary sage, bergamot and patchouli; wear orange; yoga poses include cobra pose, butterfly pose, triangle pose and shiva pose; crystals to wear or keep in your space are carnelian and amber; eat foods such as seeds, nuts, oranges, carrots.

Affirmations to use include ‘I love and enjoy my body. I am open to experiencing the present moment through my senses. I feel pleasure and abundance with every breath I take. I know how to take care of my needs. I value and respect my body. I am open to touch and closeness. I allow myself to experience pleasure. I take good care of my physical body. I am at peace. I am inspired, creative and joyful. ‘

Solar Plexus Chakra

Use essential oils such as lemongrass, fennel, lime, coriander, myrrh, frankincense, lemon and juniper; wear yellow; yoga poses include bow pose and dancers pose; crystals to wear or keep in your space are tigers eye and topaz; eat foods such as yellow peppers, bananas, oats; do things that boost your confidence like wearing your favourite outfit.

Affirmations to use include ‘I do enough. I accept myself and stand confidently in my power. I am in harmony with all I see.’

Heart Chakra

Use essential oils such as rose, geranium, jasmine, ylang-ylang, cedarwood; wear green; yoga poses include arm balance poses, upper torso twists; crystals to wear or keep in your space are peridot, emerald and rose quartz; eat all leafy green vegetables; perform acts of kindness.

Affirmations to use include ‘I am loved, I am cherished, I am needed.’ ‘I allow love to fill me up and guide me in all my actions. I am able to let go of the past, to forgive myself and others. I love myself and others fearlessly’.

Throat Chakra

Use essential oils such as lime, sage and cedarwood; wear blue; yoga poses include plow pose, fish pose and bridge pose; crystals to wear or keep in your space are lapis lazuli, sapphire, aquamarine and celestite; eat foods such as blueberries, figs and kelp.

Affirmations to use include ‘I am aligned with my highest truth and I communicate this clearly. I acknowledge the power of my word. I speak my thoughts clearly and with love. I easily express who I am.’

Third eye Chakra

Use essential oils such as geranium, basil, lavender and jasmine; wear the colour indigo; yoga poses include downward facing dog, low lunge, child’s pose, archer and thunderbolt pose; visualize doing something you love; eat foods such as blackberries, plums and aubergine; crystals to wear or keep in your space are sodalite, azurite, lapis lazuli and silver.

Affirmations to use include ‘I trust my intuition and inner wisdom and follow them. My life is divinely guided and always taking me on the right path. I see the truth in all situations.’

Crown Chakra

Use essential oils such as sandalwood, saffron and lotus; yoga poses include tree pose, corpse pose, headstand and fish pose; show gratitude; walk outdoors and spend time in nature; wear the colour violet; meditation and fasting are key elements in clearing and balancing your crown chakra; crystals to wear or keep in your space are clear quartz, amethyst and gold.

Affirmations to use include ‘I honour the spirit within me. I embrace sacred transformation. I am complete. I am at peace.’

Grounding to clear Chakras

Grounding or Earthing is the simple practice of absorbing the earth’s natural energy charge through direct physical contact with its surface. Grounding restores and maintains the human body’s most natural electrical state, which in turn promotes optimum health and functionality. Grounding is a process which enables your physical body to connect to life sustaining earth energies.

The easiest and most effective way to ground is by spending time in nature, specifically spending time barefoot in nature. There are also meditation and visualization practices that function to ground. As well as spending time in water and incorporating root and green leafy vegetables into your diet.
